Open Settings → Privacy to control optional advertising measurement while you use Scouter.
Advertising cookies
The Advertising cookies (Meta Pixel) toggle decides whether Scouter may use Meta’s advertising measurement tools in your browser.
- On — marketing measurement cookies may run so we can understand which ads led people to Scouter.
- Off — those advertising cookies are not used.
Essential cookies stay on either way. Those are required for basics like staying signed in and keeping the site secure. Turning off advertising cookies does not log you out or remove your subscription.
You can also review ad settings on Facebook at Facebook Ad Preferences.
After you change the toggle
Your choice is stored as a consent preference for that browser. If you clear site data or use a new device, you may see the cookie banner again and need to confirm your preference.
Linked financial accounts
If you connect a bank (or, later, a brokerage) account through Scouter, that connection is handled with a third-party provider (Plaid). Scouter never sees your bank login password. You can ask us to disconnect linked accounts and delete related data; see the Privacy Policy for details.
